Victory Ranch is excited to announce the re-opening of the Upper Provo River for fly fishing beginning August 26, 2014. As many of you know, closing the river is a decision that we did not take lightly, but one that was crucial to the long-term integrity of this wild fishery.

With our longer, cooler nights and recent precipitation, we feel it is safe to re-open all river fishing in the mornings while water temperatures remain cool.

Please remember to take precautions while catching and releasing all trout by wetting your hands before touching any fish, keeping fish wet inside the basket of the net while removing your de-barbed hook, and never dragging fish onto the rocks for any reason. If you wish to take a photo, please kneel down and hold the fish over the water or have another angler hold the net underneath the fish. This will allow you to catch the fish or have it land in the water if it should slip out of your hands. We will notify everyone when the river is fully opened and as always, we thank you for your patience and support.
