We’re excited to announce that we have completed a new River Trail loop, which runs from the Freestone Lodge to the west toward the riverside picnic area. This new trail then swings south over the wetlands on an elevated bridge and loops to Caddis Drive and then back to The Post and the Freestone Lodge.
Approximately 1 ½ miles in length, the new loop is perfect for early morning trail runs from the River Cabins or after-dinner strolls. Along with the nearby Juniper Draw trail, the new River Trail loop is also an excellent opportunity for little ranchers to enjoy a nature hike.
The River Trail loop adds to our growing community trail system, which includes more than 20 miles of trails waiting for you to discover by foot, horseback or on the seat of a mountain bike. We even have complimentary mountain bikes and helmets for you, including full-suspension adult BMC and Giant mountain bikes and Giant mountain bikes for kids.
