Fall is in full swing in Park City—and before you know it, we’ll be bundling up by the fire and hitting the slopes for another great ski season. Before that happens, embrace the falling leaves, cooling temperatures and spooky nature of the season with these four family-friendly events (and one that’s adults only).
1. Friday Strolls

During the last half of the year, the Park City Gallery Association hosts a unique monthly showcase on the last Friday of the month. Enjoy light refreshments as you stroll through the city’s art scene. You’ll experience new artists, special exhibits and monthly events at this free event made up of 19 galleries within walking distance from each other. Learn more here.
The Last Friday Gallery Stroll is a free community event that gives locals and Park City visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while exploring Park City’s exciting art scene. During the Last Friday Gallery Stroll—6–9 pm on the last Friday of each month—members of the Park City Gallery Association offer a unique monthly showcase highlighting artists, special exhibits and art events.
2. Halloween Party at the NAC
Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 from 7–9 pm
All-ages event (NO alcohol served)
Celebrate Halloween a little early in a safe space with activities tailored to your child’s abilities. The National Ability Center (NAC) is hosting an event centered on inclusivity. From trick-or-treating to arts & crafts, there’s tons planned for the whole family. Note: Please wear friendly costumes (no masks). Participants must be supervised. The event is free, but registration is encouraged. First 25 to register receive a free treat bag!
3. Halloween Bash Park City: Starry Pumpkin at The Paint Mixer
Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 from 7–9 pm
All-ages event (NO alcohol served)
Get your creative juices flowing as you paint with your friends or family at The Paint Mixer during their first-ever Halloween Bash. This special class will feature festive treats, decorations and music alongside an instructor-led painting session. All ages and artistic abilities are welcome. Class cost includes step-by-step instruction and materials. Dress up in a costume if you’d like (not required)! RSVP now to reserve your spot.
4. Howl-o-ween on Main Street
Thursday, October 31
Trick-or-Treating from 3–5 pm
Dog Parade at 5 pm
Dress up your kids and/or your fur babies and bring them over to Main Street for an afternoon of safe trick-or-treating from participating merchants. Stay for a parade of costumed dogs and their owners, starting at 5 pm! Parking will be available at Park City Mountain, Deer Valley Resort and the Park City School District. Public transportation is encouraged; however, dogs are not allowed on public transit. Find more information and directions here.
5. The Rocky Horror Show at Egyptian Theatre
Thursday–Saturday 8 p.m., Sundays at 6 pm
11/8–11/10 and 11/14–11/17
All showings are 16+
It’s just a jump to the left and then a step to the right…over to the Egyptian Theatre for a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. For two weekends in November, you can put on your best Magenta, Columbia or Frank N. Furter costume and throw pieces of toast at the screen. Note: Order your tickets in advance, or you’ll be paying an extra $5 at the door.
