Ring in the New Year at Victory Ranch

24-VRStockImagery24

Ring in the New Year with an evening of food, music, dancing and celebration at Victory Ranch. Kick-off the night with a delicious four-course sit down dinner at the Freestone Lodge and party into the new year on the dance floor and with a celebratory champagne toast.

This year, we have put together a wonderful entertainment lineup for the celebration. We have arranged to have live local musicians perform for both dinner services as well an all-star lineup of some of the finest musicians around for post dinner entertainment and dancing. Playing a wide variety of numbers ranging from rock to twang, funk to jazz, you will be truly amazed at the talent of this group. Brought together by the leadership of our very own Sean Regan, the line-up reads like a who’s who of Salt Lake City greats.

John Flanders A renowned saxophone player and has been one of the most in demand musicians in Salt Lake City and the intermountain west for over a decade.

Joe Chisholm – Band leader of the Joe Chisholm Quintet, he received his master’s degree in Jazz from the University of Utah and is currently finishing a doctoral degree at University of Colorado. He is one of the finest trombone players in the United States.

Steve Lindeman A professor of music theory at Brigham Young University, he has an extensive resume and has performed with such modern greats as Bob Burg, Cecil Bridgewater, Milt Hinton, Kitty Margolis, Andy Martin and many others. Steve is one of SLC’s most highly regarded musicians, and a true Friend.

Pat Terry A renowned session musician in Salt Lake City, and University of Utah associate professor of jazz and theory, Pat is one of the finest jazz instructors in the United States; more of his students become professional performers than any other instructor of music in the state of Utah.

Nat Granger Park City’s favorite Stand up Bassist. He has worked with several bands in the area and is highly sought after as a studio musician. When not wowing the crowds with his funky bass he is a local fire and rescue hero.

Sean ReganAs the ringleader of this amazingly talented band, Sean is a classically trained musician and an incredible Motown Drummer. He is a multi-instrumentalist and one of the original founding members of Fat Paw, Park City’s favorite band for over 20 years. Sean has been one of the “first call” drummers in the intermountain region for over 3 decades. You can also catch Sean performing solo, and as duets on Mandolin.

In addition to great music, good food and friends we will ring in the New Year with a champagne toast and all of the regale of a New Year’s Eve celebration. We hope you will join us with family and friends for a fun filled event. See you there!
