When the opportunity arose to decorate two of Victory Ranch’s model homes, the international interior design team from Barclay Butera Interiors Park City did not hesitate to take on the project. In the latest issue of Utah Style & Design, the designer’s Park City design team shares insight into the inspiration behind its design approach.
“What made the project special to us was the team effort involved, along with the open-mindedness of the owners. We were able to be creative and original, and it stood out in the community,” according to the Park City design team.
The goal, they point out, was to introduce a new aesthetic to the Park City vacation home buyer, giving a unique modern twist on the classic mountain cabin. “The golf-course and backcountry setting allowed us to focus on the beautifully organic material selections, and complete the look with simplified yet luxurious interiors.”
“We looked not only in the direction of architectural details, but also towards inspiration from fashion, nature, and lifestyle. Implementing our look began by choosing material selections based on the setting of the cabin,” the team says.
