Summerfest is right around the corner and we’re looking forward to a weekend spent grooving to live tunes, indulging in festival eats and kicking back with family and friends. Taking place on August 9-11 at The Barn and Freestone Lodge, our second annual Summerfest will feature an incredible lineup of performances and endless activities for the kiddos and adults alike. Below, get a glimpse of the event schedule and gear up for a summer weekend to remember.
August 9
Our event kicks off with a Kids Rock n’ Roll Camp at The Barn from 6-9pm, where our littlest ranchers are invited to bring their best dance moves and crank the music. And while the kids dance it out at The Barn? Head to The Freestone Lodge Lawn from 6-9pm for our adults-only Singer-Songwriter Dinner featuring an unforgettable performance from Javier Colon. The winner of the first-ever season of NBC’s “The Voice” in 2011, American singer-songwriter and musician Javier Colon is well-known for his acoustic soul style. Ease into the summer evening with good company and exceptional tunes.
August 10
Start off your day of festivities with an energizing yoga session on the lawn from 9-10am. Following your flow, round up the kiddos for an array of activities starting at 12pm and featuring everything from glass-blowing, face-painting and balloon art stations to a bounce house, activity course and hula hoop contest.
And, with a Beer Garden and Vendor Row, refuel with festival fare to keep your dance moves going all day long. DJ Chris B will keep the energy high from 12-6pm, followed by a live performance by Javier Colon at 6-7pm. Next, starting at 7pm, Emerson Hart—previously the lead singer-songwriter for the multi-platinum alternative rock band Tonic—will take the stage. Lastly, Josh Kelley will headline Summerfest from 8-9:00pm with his award-winning, pop-rock jams, closing out the night on the ultimate high note.
August 11
Keep the tunes going on Sunday with a live music brunch at The Freestone Lodge from 10-2pm. We’ll end our event in true Victory Ranch-fashion—with good food and even better company.
