Ski season is in full swing, and there’s no better place to embrace it than from Victory Ranch. With easy access to some of the best skiing in the world, luxe winter amenities and coveted après-ski options, this is the place to be when brush turns to powder. Whether you’re heading to our nearby ski resorts or staying within our gates, here’s a detailed guide to having an epic ski season at Victory Ranch.
Ski Park City
North America’s largest ski resort is just a short drive away from Victory Ranch. Park City gets on average 355 inches of snow, with over 7,300 skiable acres. For the more extreme sport enthusiasts, this resort has six terrain parks, one halfpipe and a mini pipe for riders of all abilities. There’s also a dedicated learning area at High Meadow Park for beginners and learners.
At Park City, 875 Main is our dedicated ski-in/ski-out lodge for Victory Ranch members only. Situated at the heart of Park City and the base of Town Lift, this lodge is your home away from home with ski valet services to bring you and your gear right to the lift, large storage lockers, boot dryers, a fully stocked kitchen and even more amenities.
In terms of après-ski options, 875 Main is also your direct connection to the best eats and entertainment in town. Take advantage of the boot dryers and unwind with a drink at the lodge, then treat your body at a nearby spa. In terms of dining, right within walking distance of the lodge are cafes and fine dining ranging from Japanese cuisine to Italian.
Ski Deer Valley
Among Deer Valley Resort’s accolades are titles like “Best Snow on Earth” and America’s “Best Ski Resort” for nine years in a row. And the gondola to these legendary slopes lies just 15 minutes from our front gate. The resort has a mobile app so you can make dining reservations, order ‘Grab & Go’ items, check lift and trail statuses, view the trail map, see mountain conditions and more.
At Deer Valley, Victory Ranch members can find dedicated services in the Deer Crest Club at the St. Regis Hotel. Enjoy direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Deer Hollow ski run at the Deer Valley Resort. Start your ski day with a continental breakfast, or come back for a light lunch, afternoon snacks and beverage service — all served on a complimentary basis. Adjacent to The Club lounge is a members-only sport locker area as well. VR Members can sign up for our Deer Valley Ski Days where our activities team takes a group to the mountain for a social day of skiing and apres ski.
Once you’ve decided to retire your skis for the day, your dining options are world-class: try out the famous Fireside Dining or al fresco dining on the mountainside deck at Royal Street Café. Another stunning locale for post-ski drinks is St. Regis’ stunning, completely clear après-ski bar, known as The Vintage Room.
Snow Days at The Ranch
Right at home at Victory Ranch are endless ways to enjoy the powder, especially with exclusive access to private heli-skiing. The Ranch has teamed up with Powderbird, Utah’s premier heli-skiing operation to bring the ultimate ski experience right to your doorstep. After a warm breakfast, get picked up at the post with a group of up to eight people to experience backcountry adventure in the Wasatch range, with the help of Powderbird’s expert guides. See the snow from an unforgettable viewpoint and ditch the crowds, then come back home for a rejuvenation session at The Spa and fresh fare at The Freestone Lodge.
And if you don’t catch a helicopter in the morning, ride the snow within our gates. Take a snowmobile tour across Victory Ranch’s backcountry wilderness. For youth ranchers, we have kid snowmobiles and a kid track right by our golf clubhouse. Comb through the backcountry for wildlife with our Sled to Shoot adventures in a Ski Doo 600.
For a slower, but spirited escapade, explore our private, groomed trails on a pair of Nordic skis — and for beginners, we have instruction sessions on Nordic Ski Days from White Pine Touring. Ranchers also love setting out on fat tire bikes for adventurous paths along the River Trail, groomed Nordic Tracks and Kamloop Trail.
And closest to home, enjoy a family afternoon on our professionally groomed, two-run tubing hill, and escape the chill with evenings by the fireplace at The Post. More serious athletes can prepare for more challenging slopes by cross-training at the Fitness Center, and top off their evenings in any of the spas or hot tubs on the ranch.
