Those who know summer at Victory Ranch are well aware that, here, the season takes on an entirely new meaning—one where morning silence is broken with the sound of your mountain bike hitting the private trails or your little one’s first catch on the Upper Provo River. Here, summer doesn’t look like it does in other places. So, when you find yourself searching for the words to capture it all, go ahead and settle for that exchanged, knowing look among family and friends who understand that, simply put, it doesn’t get any better than this. Welcome to summer at Victory Ranch.
Up with the Sun
Around here, it only takes one sunrise hike in the backcountry to turn the late sleeper of the family into a morning person. And, when golden mountain light draws early risers outdoors, Victory Ranch’s 6,700 pristine acres offer endless summer adventures to set after.
Out the Door
Long summer days offer every reason to get out in the great outdoors and enjoy the sights and smells of the wild landscape amidst our 4,000 acres of untouched backcountry. Whether exploring by foot, mountain bike or 4×4 Polaris Ranger, more than 20 miles of trails await discovery, unveiling sweeping meadows, aspen groves and wildlife along the way. At Victory Ranch, the mountains are always calling—but we love a day spent cooling off by the water. What’s summer without a little splash? Only a couple of minutes west from home, Jordanelle Reservoir offers an array of water adventures for the whole family—from waterskiing, wakeboarding, or tubing with one of the Jordanelle’s ski boats to kayaking or paddle boarding on sparkling waters.
Back at The Ranch
Summer is about finessing your swing at the 18-hole Rees Jones-designed golf course, lounging poolside at The Barn and perfecting your game at the paddle tennis pavilion—and it’s all within steps from your home at Victory Ranch. For a cool break from the sunshine, kids enjoy an escape to The Barn’s indoor sports court, arts & crafts studio and game room, featuring shuffleboard, ping pong, foosball and vintage arcade games. And for adults? When you’re not showing the kiddos how it’s done on the indoor basketball court, we’d have to recommend a retreat to The Spa for the ultimate relaxation.
Under the Stars
Summer at Victory Ranch is equal parts about the moments spent in the middle of the action and those in which we’re sitting back and taking in the smallest of the season’s details. At the day’s end, the standout memories of summer are often centered around the simplest of joys, whether it be the sunset colors that serve the perfect complement to your evening cocktail or the family game of cornhole played on the Freestone Lodge lawn before dining at twilight. Summer means more gathering time with those who mean the most, and that’s what we’re all about at Victory Ranch.
