What does summer mean at Victory Ranch? Simply put, it means busting out your golf clubs and hitting the green. Our Rees Jones-designed 18-hole course provides the ultimate playground for little ones, teenagers, amateurs and bona fide professionals alike. And, luckily, there’s no shortage of events and clinics to keep you busy all summer long. Below, get a glimpse of our most anticipated golf pursuits this season.
For the Family
Get the entire squad together on Saturday, June 30 for Victory Ranch’s Family Championship, our inaugural golf tournament where families come together to compete on the course. Each team of up to six players, which can be made up of one or multiple families, will play a scramble format. And, if you’re at the Ranch for July Fourth, be sure to stop by the all-day Independence Day Flag Tournament for a celebration of red, white, blue and—of course—green.
For the Ladies
For all the women who wild at Victory Ranch, we have a selection of golf events tailored just to you. The Ladies Member-Guest tournament, the biggest women’s golf event of the year, is a fun and competitive day spent with fellow members and guests on the course, followed by an awards luncheon at the Freestone Lodge. The event will fall on Saturday, August 25, so find a team of four ladies and start practicing. Or, for a more laid-back vibe on the course, sign up for the Ladies 9 & Wine, which takes place on select Tuesdays throughout the summer. A casual game just for the ladies, the 9-hole competition is accompanied by a weekly wine special. And, to boot, the winner will receive a special Victory Ranch bottle of vino.
For the Gents
What’s better than a two-day men’s match-play tournament in the midst of July? Nothing, really. From Thursday, July 12 to Saturday, July 14 The Outlaw – Men’s Member-Guest Tournament will kick off with a welcome dinner for participants and their spouses on Thursday and will wrap with an awards dinner following The Shootout on Saturday night. This is a gents’ tournament not to miss at the Ranch. Yet, all the men need a bit of practice, right? Dust off your clubs in the Men’s Skins Game every Thursday, which is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow members for a competitive round—and to see who your biggest threat will be in the Member-Guest.
For the Ladies & Gents
Whether you and yours want to pair up with fellow members in the Couples 9 Hole on Fridays or play a casual game in the Divots & Drinks event on Tuesdays—with a beverage in hand, of course—the options for ladies and gents are plentiful. When you want to add some competition into the mix, consider signing up for the Member-Member Golf Tournament on August 3 and 4, which is a 36-hole NET event comprised of 4 different formats. And, if you’re yearning to take home the gold, take to the links for our annual Club Championship on September 7 and 8.
For the Kiddos
We haven’t forgotten about the kiddos on the Ranch. The Junior Golf Clinic on select Fridays throughout the summer is the perfect time for young members to learn from our best golf professionals and learn the tricks of the trade. Then, when the kiddos getting the swing of things, they can sign up for the Junior Golf Camp & Championship from July 25 to 28 to play alongside PGA masters. Before you know it, they’ll be your biggest competitor on the course.
