The ever-coveted winter season is finally upon us and, at Victory Ranch, we boast unrivaled proximity to Utah’s most renowned ski resorts. Closest to our front gate are two of the country’s most highly-rated ski mountains, Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain Resort.
Deer Valley, where our members enjoy privileged access to the ski-in/ski-out Deer Crest Club, once again took the top spot in SKI magazine’s annual “Best in the West” reader-ranked survey, and was named America’s top resort at this year’s World Ski Awards. Park City, where our member-only ski-in/ski-out 875 Main lounge rests just at the base of Town Lift, is no stranger to accolades either. USA Today says “There may be no better combination of ski mountain and ski town in all of the world,” and declared it one of the country’s most family-friendly ski resorts.
Just beyond these two prized mountains, within an easy driving distance (approximately one hour from Victory Ranch), are even more of America’s best ski mountains, including Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude and Sundance.
Opening Day
Conditions permitting, Brighton opens November 21; Snowbird and Alta open on November 22; Park City on November 23; Deer Valley and Solitude on December 2; and Sundance on December 8. Please refer to these links for current updates and changes to the mountains’ schedules.
Victory Ranch Ski Shuttles
Whether you wish to head to Park City or Deer Valley, our goal is to make your season on the slopes as effortless and enjoyable as can be. To this end, we have devised a shuttle schedule that will commence on December 2, 2017, running daily during ski season. The shuttle will depart from Victory Ranch at 8:00am, 11:00am and 3:30pm. The daily pick up will be at 4:00pm from Deer Valley and 4:30pm at 875 Main in Park City.
Our evening shuttle will run Thursday through Sunday during ski season, with a 5:00pm departure from Victory Ranch and a 9:00pm pick-up at 875 Main. While the slopes at Park City may close at 4pm, there’s no denying that an aprés afternoon at 875 Main is, perhaps, just as fun. Hang up your boots, kick back with a drink and a indulge in spread of charcuterie and cheese before heading back to the Ranch.
Snow Conditions
In reference to recorded weather conditions, this winter is presumed to be just as auspicious as the last. In fact, Ski Utah President and CEO Nathan Rafferty believes this season holds the potential to be likewise historic: “We’re keeping our fingers crossed and looking forward to what we think will be a third record year in a row. Momentum is on our side,” he said in an interview with Park Record. With access to Utah’s proclaimed best ski resorts, Victory Ranch members are sure to experience the supreme bounty of snow that this season will surely offer.
Please contact our Member Services team at 435-785-5040 for any questions you may have about the shuttle service.
