The bent grass greens and fairways of the Victory Ranch Golf Course have the honor of hosting the 110th Utah Women’s State Amateur Championship this August 2 – 5, 2016. The championship event features 36 holes stroke play qualifying to determine the 15 players who will advance to match play.
Favorite Kelsey Chugg, who has won the tournament three out of the past four years, has high praise for the Victory Ranch Rees Jones-designed course. “It’s unbelievable,” Chugg told Fox13. “This golf course is so good. Indeed, many attribute the record number of competitors registered for this year’s tournament to the opportunity to play on the course Golf Digest ranked among the best in Utah.
