This past weekend’s Victory Ranch Club Championship at the Rees Jones Golf Course was our most competitive championship to date. Ernie Wakabayashi (above), who last year took home the Men’s Net Division title, squeezed out the Gross Division field, going 81-83 for the win.

In the Men’s Net Division, it was a battle between father and son as Chris Lampert edged out his father, Mark Lampert, by just one stroke to take the championship, scoring 80-78. In the Ladies Division, it was Gail Engvall, who came out swinging and shot a net 73. It was a very impressive round, especially with the pressure of the competition and super fast greens.
