Few things are as healthy as they are fun, but immersing yourself in nature just so happens to combine the two—especially for kids. At Victory Ranch, little ones live a life that’s entirely wild and free, allowing them to open their minds and eyes to something new at every turn. Below, take a look at five outdoor activities that put your Ranchers in the outdoors, away from their screens and at one with the natural world.
1. Attend our Kids Naturalist Camp
Kids will have the opportunity to learn about plants, animals and the environment through this interactive experience. They’ll be led through activities like identifying various flora and fauna around The Ranch and tracking footprints to learn about wild animals in the area and their habits.
2. Explore the seemingly boundless backcountry
Kids have a number of opportunities to adventure around the property on something other than their two feet. With mountain biking and hiking trails, pedal karts, 4×4 Ranger tours and more, Victory Ranch is the perfect playground for your most adventurous little ones.
3. Reserve a spot in Ranch Adventure Camp
There is so much to do and see at the Ranch, so we decided to select the best and put it all into a camp that every kiddo will love. Whether it’s exploring the backcountry or creating art masterpieces, you’ll always find an adventure here.
4. Spend a day fly fishing the Upper Provo
What better way for kids and adults to commune with nature than fly fishing on the Upper Provo? Teach your kids how to cast a line and catch and release trout, as well as other native fish.
5. Journey out for one of our yurt excursions
Our backcountry yurts are perfect for camping without the planning. No need to bring a tent or a sleeping bag, as our yurts are fully furnished (and equipped with electricity). Explore the area during the day and come back to a cozy setup for s’mores and warming up by the fire with your kids.
